I just have to say that I am proud of myself. I have a long way to go to truly become a 'success story', but I am celebrating my little successes. I have been on blood pressure meds for 25 years. Over the years I've had to have bigger doses to keep it under control. When I went back to the dr. for my fill, my bp was 90/55= low. So I monitored for a week and it was still low- plus I had dizzy spells/low energy bc of the low bp. Now, I am on 1/4 of the dose after losing just 30 pounds. Regular Dr. is pleased and projected I would be off bp meds after another 20-30 pounds. My health is so much better and I feel so much better already. The band was worth it just for that!!! I am walking/jogging 3-5 miles a day. I was a couch potato before. I feel 'in-control' for the first time in SO long.
