I'd like to meetup too. I couldn't stand the Costco shakes, so luckily my husband has finished them for me. Just had my second fill last week.......the fills are very slow at OWLS. Will take me at least 3 more months to get close to restriction. Other than that things have been going pretty smoothly. Does anyone have kids? My son will be 4 on the 15th!

What is the fill schedule for you? I am right next door at legacy weight mngmt and the fills go 2cc, 2cc, then as needed per the surgeon.

Dr. Patterson's does 1 cc, 1cc, and then down to 1/2 cc. So about 1/2 the rate as Legacy. At least I only have a 10cc band. I have my 3rd fill (1/2 cc =/) in about 2.5 weeks.

That's unfortunate, but it's not a race either... I find as long as I eat high protein, I stay full. I believe I am at 4.5 out of 10cc now and can honestly say there's a difference.

Do you go to the support meetings? There is one Wednesday evening...

I've gone and probably will be going tomorrow. There were only four other people the times I've gone before, but they said when the weather starts getting better that more people come out. I really like that they have a discussion topic each time and one of the staff (surgeon, nutritionist, physical therapist, or psychologist) leads the meeting.

I was banded in February by Emma Patterson - OWLS, down about 14 pounds since surgery. I am going in for full # 3 this Thursday so hopefully it will help.
