Day 10 Of Pre Op Liquid Diet-Vent

Why do some drs require a complete liquid diet for pre op and others require none. GGGGRRRR. I haven't cheated even once on this liquid diet, but I gotta tell ya the last 2 days have been rough. I have lost 8 pounds on the liquid diet. I now weigh 256. I am so close and don't want to blow it by cheating. Any advise. I'm not hungry, and just want something that tastes good. :(

I should also say I slept alot the first few days of pre op, I may be doing the same for last few days of pre op

It sounds rough, and I was one of the ones who didn't have to do a liquid diet beforehand. Hm, new liquids....what about yogurt drinks? Can you blend some soups to sh*t in your blender to make them completely liquid?

I allowed myself a little protein only during those days. A can of tuna never tasted so good. I lot 18 lbs during my pre-op diet. My surgeon let me et the night before the surgery....protein and greens only, but it was te BEST meal! I just finished week 1 of post-op and it's tough too. At least the end is in sight! Stay strong and drink lots!
