Muscle Pain Where The Port Is Attached.

How long were other people sore on the muscle where the port is attached? I have been taking my meds but it still hurts. I have only been banded for about 41 hours so I know it is healing. Just curoius.

Mine hurt for a couple of weeks

Mine just stopped being sore a few days ago and I'm a month post op. I was just able to start wearing my jeans again.

i still have soreness and Im in my third month. I dont' have much abdominal fat.. and its pretty obvious something is under the skin. ,,life.weight.pngits not unbareable.

How u doing? Haven't seen u on in awhile

I'm about a month out and I still have dicomfort.....can't wear anything that lays accross that area....still doing the clothes with elastic.

It does get better. While focusing on the post op healing, one day you realize, the discomfort is gone. It does take time, and everyone heals differently.

It takes about a month and yes it will get better each day. Remember your port is attached to your abdominal muscles which is why it takes longer to heal. Good luck!

4-6 weeks

I'm 17 days post op, and I have no pain. My pain stopped completely on day 9, port pain included.

Great question mines has been hurting a lot lately.
