  1. You are so right. I'm really try come out Victorious with the mental part of the lap band I really struggling!

I'm very similar to your story I will be banded a year in march and I have only lost 40lbs which 15 I have gain backed in the last 4 months I am so afraid of being labeled a failure I have state fed to second guess my decision for this surgery specially since seeing a good friend of mine have fast result with the gastric bypass. Thanks for giving me hope!

  6. I've never really at them before just plain always in gauc form but maybe ill stop and see if that helps
  7. Since like Monday or Tuesday I havent tried Zantac because i didn't think it was heart burn I did try gas x but that didn't help at all
  8. I don't drink pop or anything sparkling just because I hate that feeling I don't remember eating anything really bad lately just really been on avocado kick the last few weeks but that's it

  14. I'm so happy I read this thread I'm having the hardest time with adjusting my food intake but now I feel like I have extra tools under my belt

Granted I don't have a fill but I'm a little concern about my food intake I'm not eating as much as before but for me to be banded I think im eating a lot for instance I went out to eat had 2 chicken fingers and 3 slices of thin crust pizza im starting to get worried I did some damage any suggestions or advice I'm hoping I can do this journey without any fill

  17. I just got my bill from the hospital when I seen it I almost fainted it was more then the cost of my college tuition at my universitiy. I just want to say the ppl who is doing this surgery with no insurance I have a new found respect for you. You have made the decsison to live life no matter the cost especially with the economy so congrats for living

  19. So I went to my post op appt yesterday and I'm doing so well I won't need a fill for at least 3 month which makes me happy because I am really not a fan of needles. Him telling me that was the best news its a confirmation I am on the right track
  20. so i've been post op for about 2 weeks i have no hunger this week i had to start making myself eat thing in fear that i was probably doing more harm then good is this normaly i feel like i could go hours with out having to eat something and at times when i do feel hunger pain i can drink something and it gone

I dont know if some are religious but today my god spoke to me yesterday was a really rough day for me I began to question my decision on my WLS but as I was listening to bishop TD Jakes he explain that sometimes god will tie you up (i.e lapband) in order to help you get to your destiny and utilizes you in his will so I now know that this decision could never be a mistake but simply a blessing

  23. I had this same issue after surgery my husband kept looking at me like i was crazy i put two and two together and found out it was my pain meds
