Hello everybody.

I had lab band 4 weeks ago.

Tonight, I placed my fingers across my port and place a little pressure on it. I did this because I was wondering how sensitive the whole area was. I know that the port area kinda hurts if I bump it and I wanted to know if a little pressure would feel the same.

Anyways, it didn't hurt. But it felt like there was a little "pop". Almost like you would feel if you break the suction on something.

I'm going to contact my doctor's office. But in the mean time I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this.

possibly a suture popped?

About a week out of surgery I was walking and slipped on something. I was able to catch myself before I actually fell, but only after getting seriously contorted to prevent falling. I did have pain in that area. I can feel my port and it seems that it is still in the same position, but I wouldn't be surprised if I popped a stitch too.

Could be a suture, or possibly just some scar tissue? Definitely call your Doc. Im 7 months out and still feel weird things on occasion.
