Last "before" Photo I'll Ever Take!

My surgery is on Thursday and I'm super excited/nervous. Tonight my boyfriend took photos of me to help inspire me, and help me keep track of my physical appearance throughout my lap band journey. I said that this would be the last "before" photo I will ever take, and I am so glad that my band will help me accomplish this...along with hard work!

Has anyone else taken "before" pictures to help inspire them? Did you find that it helped?

Yes I did. I can't see that much difference yet, but did have my boyfriend take a new set of pictures now that I've lost more weight. I am keeping the same outfit to wear in the pictures, so that the changes will be more noticeable...

I took before pictures also. Mine were just a few weeks ago... I can't wait until I'm at goal and can look back to compare.

Good luck to you both! I think the photos will really help psychologically with being able to see the weight coming off, just my opinion....I never have my photo taken now, so this will be different.

I didn't take any because I really hated my picture being taken. Luckily the dr's office took a front and side view and I had them send me the file. I had my before and after side by side picture as my profile pic and now I don't even like to look at that picture anymore....no more going back!

You guys are smart to take them, nice to see how far you have come!

But a picture is worth a thousand words and your side by side was very inspiring! I can't even stand to have my profile pic on here, that's why it's a nice Hawaiian sunset instead!
