Kind Of Weird....

For this that are on, or were on an all liquid pre op diet... Did/does your tongue feel weird?

My tongue feels thicker, I'm on day #6 and I noticed at day 3-4. I am well hydrated as I'm meeting my 64 oz goal. It's a weird feeling. Anyone else have this problem or am I just "special"? Lol. Thanks in advance!

Yout tongue will get like a fur on it, making it feel bigger .. like cotton mouth if u arent eating solid food and it doesnt slough off. Protein shakes are notorious for it if u are drinking them :)

I would use one of theose toothbrushes with the tongue brush thing on .. or chew gum :)

If your tongue is really swollen might be an idea to call the doctor as u may have an allergy to something ..

Thanks Cazzy! The fur makes sense. (Ewe!) never knew! TMI, but I brush my tongue.... Guess it's time to bust out the tongue scraper I never thought I'd use. Lol.

I never thought I would have to use a tongue scrapper too. I still use my periodically.
