Gurgle Noise In My Throat?

Does anyone have this sound coming from their throat or chest? It seems to gurgle when I've swallowed something too big or drank something too fast. Anyone else? What the crzy is this? Am I expanding the stoma or anything?

  • An interesting phenomenon, In this hemisphere the liquid in your pouch goes down clockwise, and in Australia, it goes counterclockwise (anticlockwise).

  • The important thing is that it does go down, noisy or not.

It is because it is trying to go down . Your band is probably quite tight and the quantity of liquid quite large. Its a bit like when the last bit of water goes down the plughole in the bath - that is generally pretty noisy too

Absolutely norrmal. I asked this same question after I finally got restriction. My husband calls them "your noises" they used to be alot worse than now 2u yrs after getting restriction. Its embarrassing in public.

Relax. There's nothing u can do about em.

Unless of course you stand on your head!
