Hello everyone...here in Louisiana for the past few weeks it's been nothing but parties, balls, parades, and those sweet tasting king cakes. I've managed to stay away from them all, well except 1 parade. We had our usual feast of king cakes at work and I'm so proud of myself for not even having one little piece. I had my 2nd fill last week and for the first time in over a month I finally see the scale moving in the downward position. Can I tell ya, I'm smiling from ear to ear. Went out to dinner last night with the hubby and kid and all I ordered was a side salad and I didn't even eat it all, that felt so good, b/c usually we order appetizer, then a big meal and i normally eat it all. My husband even commented by saying "wow, is that it" The past month has been really hard for me and i was getting really discouraged b/c i had NO restriction and was still hungry all the time, and even started to wonder why did i go thru the surgery for this. I'm on this site daily and it's b/c i get so much support from ppl that don't even know me and I thank you all...
Well enough about me, I'm off today but no parades or parties for me, I'll be at home doing house work. have a great day ppl and Happy Mardi Gras!!!!
