My date has been changed sad.png . I am now March 7th. My surgeon wants to do another EGD on March 1st instead of the surgery. He said that when they did the last one 2 years ago there was damage to my esophagus and wants to make sure it hasn't gotten worse. Pre op diet starts on the 22nd. At least I have this weekend to get my last food days in.

My mom is 6 months post op and is 60 lbs down! Wow hope I can do the same.

If having a "last meal" makes u a fatty, I'm a super duper fatty! Lol. I had a "last meal" WEEK! I got in all my favs....Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Popeyes chicken, Taco Bell, and many more! The great part is, it's all outta my system. I start my pre-op diet today, which means my surgery is in 2 weeks. Yahooooo smile.png

Your awesome! I'm doing the same thing right now. My boyfriends gaining weight like crazy after my last meal week! But hey I'm only going to be a super duper fatty this one last time! might as well go out with a bang!laugh.png

I am March 27th. I can't wait. It has already been a long journey since I started, and now it is sooo close. It took a while to fight with my insurance and they required me to be on a 3 month program before I could apply. I am super happy it is almost here.

I have one week until I start my pre op diet and am enjoying foods that I know I won't be able to eat for a while ... But the more I eat the more I know that I'm okay with giving them up and finallllly losing this awful weight for good ... New motto is we need to eat to live not live to eat !

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
