I have taken the steps to get the ball rolling to getting a band. I have had my information session, now am waiting on my first visit with the surgeon. I am excited, but nervous at the same time. What if i cant do it? What if i fail at this like every other weght loss attempt. What if i pay all of this for nothing? Will it hurt or help my relationship my my husband? My son?

So many questions, and my mind is racing at the thought of it.

Everyone has all those feelings...it has turned out to be the best thing I could have ever done. The first year or so is a big struggle to adjust to a new way of life but now Ii am more than two years out and it is pretty easy! Welcome! You will get lots of support and honest answers here!
