True Results Gave Me 1 Cc!

I have to share my excitment! I was banded in July at True Results in Houston. I've had 4 fills now. The first 3 fills I was only given .5 cc. I was under the impression that that's all they would do at True Results, so imagine my surpise yesterday... The nurse asked me how my hunger level was in between meals... I told her a 6 (out of 10).. so she gave me a 1 full cc! I'm now at 7.2 cc. Feeling the restriction now .. hoping it stays like this!! Much love and happiness to all :)

Congratulations I'm very happy for you! (:

I go to true results in Houston too and they give 1cc every time, Al though ive only been 2xs. she said I was behind on fills with only 2ccs in 10cc band. I was scared to be too tight where I can't swallow my own spit but now I think i'm ready to be too tight. My stomach always growls and I feel like i'm hungrier than before my first fill. best of luck to you! I can't wait to feel restriction.

Congratulations! I met with true results but have decided to go with Dr. Ortiz for gastric plication. I am scheduled for Feb. 3. I hope to report great success with that procedure as well!

I have the XL band (14cc), and have had 2 fills... each for 2cc. I am not having any restictions whatsoever, can eat anything. Trying my hardest to stay in control! LOL

Hey lollicatt,

Thanks for letting me know. When Dr. hollis did my surgery he put 4.2 cc's in, did you have any Fluid put in during your surgery? I've been dreaming of having restrction so I hope it stays!

I read one of your other post that said you do a protein drink for breakfast and lunch. You might fell some restriction in the am if you try food, normally the band is tighter in the am. Just a thought.

i too went through True Results, in Richardson Texas. I have a 14cc band i now have 9.25 cc's. Originally my doctor told me that i would have to be right at 10cc to get the most out of this.. it's been okay, but I too can almost eat what ever i want, except for bread and chicken(white meat) i've heard once before that if i would try and eat a sold breakfast i would be better, however i can only drink protein shakes in the am. starting March 1st, i'm going to start drinking coffee, because i hear that will loosened the band, then try and eat a sold breakfast. i will let yall know how that goes
