What's Your Food Of Sin?

Recommended Posts

What's your sinful food? While i could say anything smothered in chocolate, i would be lyin. My sinful food is chips and queso from one of the local mexican restraunts. I havent had it since i was banded...for obvious reasons. But that doesnt stop me from dreaming about t and thinking about it. Its sooo bad for me i dont want to know the calories that are in it. I've contemplated trying after i can go to full solids but i changed my mind. If i keep the mentality that i cant have it i just wont go there or try to see if i cn eat it.. therefore staying out ofntrouble.. but one of my sinful foods that i cant give up is chocolate. So i have chosen moderation...i figure 3 hershys kisses on fridays only if i walk 7 miles for the week. Then gradually move up the mile marker ..... so whats yours?

chocolate. These days instead of having a big bad I try to eat either a small Freddo frog or a Curly Wurly. The Curly Wurly is pretty low cal but it takes a little while to chew and tends to satisfy the craving.

Mine are CHEETO"S that cruchy chese doodle they advertise on TV with the cartoon lion. I can't go to a convience without buying a small bag.

I like chips and Salsa, especially if you make your own, and the tortilla chips are 100% natural, it's not that bad for you.

It's one of the foods I eat while watching TV, especially OU FOOTBALL!

(I see you're from Norman)

Queso on the other hand,.....I stay away from.

B-52, you can eat tortilla chips without getting stuck? I thought chips might be in the same category as bread and would expand.

chips (crisps) tend to be a slider food. They are easy to eat a lot of, same as popcorn, crackers etc

Sadly...mine is fast food. I love it. On the a bad day, the one thing I want is greasy food! I have been using my last 5 weeks before the band, to kinda have a last meal, and they have all been pretty bad, so hopefully I won't crave them as much once I am banded. I will just think of how gross it was the last time I ate it! :)

I can't eat bread, doughy things, pizza crust, etc.

But I do not have a problem with chips or crackers.

Go figure. Chips are something I do not want in the house. Once I start it's hard to stop.

My sin is Red Vines, chips and Pepsi.

I can't bread, flour tortilla, hard boil eggs and some fruit. meat is hard for me on some days. I pretty much live off Target popcorn and pepsi. I eat whatever can stay down without problems. Chips and salsa I've notice is a slider food. The harder the chip the easier it is to go down. Anything soft gets stuck.

Mine is pizza! I could live without ever eating the crust, but the idea of never eating pizza again saddens me. Tomorrow I start on mushies so I am starting to get nervous about food getting stuck now. Up until now it has been all liquid so I havent had to worry!

Any crunchy chip! I limit myself by using a small ramekin to eat them from. I should not have them in the house, but hubby loves them, too!

Mine would have to be ice cream. And I mean, full on fat, creamy Ben & Jerry's or Starbucks.

I don't know if I have an evil food. My personasl demon however is anything that goes crunch (sweet or savory) and cake. Sooo I don't keep them in my house. I do however occationally go to Costco's on a Saturday and troll the free samples. They only give you a bite of each thing and it makes me feel like I'm not giving up fun foods for ever. For example last week they had pita chips with hummus; and the chip was only 1 inch square.

Do I have to name just one! LOL! A good juicy BURGER or anything at the chinese buffet.. those are the things I have been craving since I have been on my pre-op diet.

I don not have any food of sin. I can and do eat everything and my band keeps the quantity in moderation. That is one of the best things about having the band is I can eat some so-called bad food but not enough of it to affect my weight.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
