I schedule my official surgery date this Wednesday and cannot wait! Hoping I can make a friend around my age (22) who will also be banded soon...everyone who I've told about my surgery for the most part is supportive, but I was hoping to find someone who actually understands what I will be going through.. I'm from Louisiana (Baton Rouge area) but it doesn't really matter to me where you're from... =)

Hey there MrsMyers! I was banded on12/14 so it sounds like I am a bit ahead of you but I still have a million questions and thoughts that pop up! Im not quite 22 (32) but would be glad to vent to you and vice versa along the way! Good luck!

Welcole to LBT..I would love to be a lapband buddy..I've been banded for 3 yrs.. Just this last yr i went on a gaining spree and now i got to get what i gained back off.. I have a LapBand group on facebook that has 117 people in it and some are veterans from here.. It has an active forum so you can ask any questions you want and get a good educated answer.. If you would like to join or have any questions just PM me anytime..I just don't say i've really gained in there because it's a little embarrassing...LOL
