That's great..is it self pay or is your insurance picking it up, because I was thinking about having the plication done as well, but only if my ins. will pay for it.

Congrats. I am scheduled to have it done in January. My insurance is covering it for me, I think that if you have it done with the lap band it is covered but if you just have the plication then I don't think they will cover it yet because it is considered investigational on its own

I just got LapBand with plication on the 14th. Im still really sore but not hungry at all.what hurts the most on me is where the port is

Thank you everyone. My surgery is being covered by insurance. But that's only because I'm having the band. I don't believe the plication is covered alone.
