Thanks for the responses I hope it will get better It just sucks watching everyone else eat and feeling different and alone. I know I will get over it after I can start eating a little more normal. We were on the road this weekend and it was a pain to mix shakes and not just being able to grab something like everyone else. I will be ok it just will take time to adjust.

Hi everyone I just had my lap band taken out and a revision to a sleeve almost 2 weeks ago. I don't know what is going on with me but this only liquid thing has me so depressed. It was a month with the band and for the most part I did fine but this time is totally different. The last few days I just feel like I have made the wrong choice. I have just been watching my son and husband eat and wondering why I chose to do this to myself, I don't feel normal now. I guess this is hitting me so hard because this one is permanent. Has anyone else felt this way and how did you deal with it? Thanks

Thanks I feel so much better now that the drain tubes are out. I should get to go home in the next hour or so.

Thanks everyone. I just woke up enough to get on here. I'm doing ok and just finished my leak test, it went good. The only unplanned thing was she said my gallbladder was awful and took it out too while I was under, which is fine with me just weird bc I haven't had any symptoms of gallbladder problems

Today is my day. I'll be honest last night I almost said just take it out and forget the sleeve. I have done way too much reading on what can go wrong and I just have myself really worked up. I'm going to do it though and just pray for the best. I'm guessing from when I go in my surgery should be around 9:30(Oklahoma time). I will let yall know how it goes. Wish me luck!

Mine is going to do both at the same time. I get a date on the 6th for when. Ins. approved both at the same time.

Me too I'm just nervous reading about the people who said the sleeve didn't work and they had no restriction. I hope that won't be our case. I guess when I go in the 6th I need to ask her how small she will be making my stomach.

Hi everyone I'm fixing to have my band taken out because it has slipped and they are doing the sleeve at the same time. I'm super excited and also super nervous! Good idea on the cheese I was trying shredded . The first day was all soft and even mashed potatoes hurt and I wasn't eating much. I might just stay with soft for a while longer. Thanks

Ok so I just got my 2nd fill and I'm up to 6cc before this last fill I could eat anything. Now it feels like I can't eat anything. I got my fill mon. Spent tues on liquids now I'm trying to eat and out of 5 meals I've thrown up 3 of them. ??? Any ideas on what works with a tight band? Thanks

Just a update I didn't get one and everything went fine I just walked a lot
