How Much Did You Lose On Pre Lap Band Op Diet?

I have my surgery on Monday and I've only lost 11 pounds so far! I didn't even lose anything between yesterday and today! AGghh...I'm a little worried it might not be enough. I just wanted to know what everyone else has lost on their pre op diets? Ive been on a protein only shakes for 10 days and then tomorrow, I'll be on clear liquids. I'm hoping to lose at least 2-4 more pounds but who knows. Do you think 11 pounds is enough? Thanks!

I lost 11lbs on preop and have only lost 10 since surgery at 5 weeks post op. I go for a fill tomorrow ang d hope I get some restriction. Seems like you are doing good. :)

Bestof luck to ya!

Diet was for 12 months=1 long year.

I lost over 120Lbs....

On a 1200 calorie Diet.

I lost 20 pounds on the pre-op diet and have lost and additional 13 pounds since surgery on Oct 17/11 (about 5 weeks ago). You are doing well to lose the weight you have lost and because the diets are so different between doctors I think it is difficult to compare one patient to another. Also things like age, gender, activity level, initial starting weight will skew the results. So be happy...you did what your doctor expected of you.
