I have Anthem BCBS in So Cal....took me 4 days to have approval. Paperwork was sent at closing Monday, had approval on friday, had surgery the next week! I was banded Nov 3, have lost 16 pounds already, and I'm so happy! I suggest you call and bug them, they didn't mind my calls at all and were very nice and helpful every time I called.

Mine took a week and a half.

I have BCBS in Southwestern PA. I submitted my paperwork November 7, and am still anxiously awaiting a response!! My doctor's office told me they have 30 days to approve/not approve, but I am hoping it is well before the 30 day mark that I hear back!!
