Federal blue cross blue shield anyone?

i was just looking into my benefits book for Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield BASIC option. it seems that i will have a $150 per night fee for the hospital (one night) and a $150 per doctor (I think there will be 2 surgeons). just wondering if anyone else has this insurance. thinking about what other costs i will incur for the surgery. i already paid all my co-pays for all the specialists to get approved for the surgery. wondering if there will be an anethesia (spelling) cost or co-pay. just want to prepare my husband before all the bills come rolling in. thank you.

I have BCBS fed and I had to pay $196 in copay for hospital. That is the only bill I got so far. I had surgery on 12/19. I stayed over night cause was later in day so kept me 23 hours, so was still outpatient.Good luck.

Congratulations! How are you doing? the mushy stage going ok? As long as I can do these soups, I can survive!

My first fill is Jan 16. I hit the 3 week post op point. Now the hunger has started to kick in and I find that I have to keep myself busy and distracted. I have been eating yougurt at Breakfast and Soup for lunch & dinner.

Now that I am at week 3, I ate a scrambled egg today. I used egg beaters and melted a piece of fat free cheese on it. I had chicken salad for lunch and tonight another scrambled egg tonight with a few pieces of boiled chicken added (and I mean a few, like 2 table spoons).

I also walked for 30 minutes. Everything seems to be staying down and not causing discomfort. Hope I am not going too fast.

Lots of protien that is good. I have hard time with the water,,, cooler temps do not help. Im making mushy soups and water them down. Usually 1/2 or hour later then all the wiggling and gurgling starts in my tummy. some areas pinchy other like muscles flexing. weird hope that means all is well in there? I have not walked except shopping - need to get going... soon
