Low Carb Right After Lap Band Surgery--is It Possible

Hi everyone! I am new and was very excited to find a low carb group here. I'm in the process of getting banded and I have been doing low carb for 2 months. My question is "What can I eat to stay in the fat burning mode after surgery to continue losing during my post op time and before I can get back to regular foods?"

there are several high protein, low carb protein drinks/shakes out there that will assist you in maintaining low carb. experiment before you get banded so you can find the brand that you can tolerate.

I am 2 weeks post op and doing low carb. My Dr. recommended sugar free popsicles and Jello and I have been using those to curb my sweet tooth cravings. Before that, I did a lot of beef consume Soup.
