Questions about gas and other bodily functions

Ok, Had surgery 34 hours ago. Having BAD gas pains from one side of abdomin to the other. Have not passed any gas, little bleching and NO bowel movements. Is this normal?

I have been taking the hydrocodine elixer every 4 hours. Drinking fluids, walking more than I should. Taking gas-x. Noting seems to help.

I am on day 3 and the gas sucks! Gas x doesnt work. I ca deal with the shoulder pain but the gurgling everywhere in my body is just gross.

Dont fret to much yet about no BM.. Intestines are the last to wake up from anasthesia. Plus remember you really havent had anything of substance in a while. So if younstart feeling full in that sense do a little miralax or whatever your doc recommended. But i would give it a few days before you get to worried.
