Dr. Wade Barker - hope i am doing the right things only 23 lb since i was banded

Am I doing the right things I need some support . I don't see a big difference since I got the band on 4/18. I walk and have cut my portion sizes . All I know is that I get food stuck from time to time and have to wash it down with something . What should I do then? Should I stop eating ? Anyone losing 50 or more lbs have to be doing what is required of them . I just think that I am never going to lose this weight. I am currently at 282 for 305 when I was weighed . It is hard for me to let the carbs completly go. In the past I was only a carb eater. I am 36 years old and just had a son in 2010. I need to get this weight off of me I am so disappointed about it. Please someone talk to me I need encouragement.

Thanks

Phee

I was banded 4/4/11. You need to pull away from those carbs, I have not had bread in any form since my per -op liquid diet. I started out at 304 and am now 197, I go to curves 5 days and week and walk or ride 6 days a week. I do count my calories and really push my protein. You can do it, you may just be a slow loser and there is nothing wrong with that.
