Need a Buddy/Mentor/ I'm desperate and failing miserabily

My name is Jessica and I have had my band for what will be two years in December of this year and I am a measly 11 pounds less than my presurgery weight

After my surgery in 2009 I was doing great. I was losing weight and eventually reached a loss of 80 pounds by the fall of 2010. It was wonderful and I was only 20 pounds from my goal weight , then my band slipped and I had to have it removed and a new one placed.

I have steadily regained much of that weight in the year since I was rebanded. I contantly sabatoge myself and eat around my band! I need help refocusing and getting back on track.

If there is a successful and positive person out there who can and is willing to help me, I am willing to listen and give it all I have to be successful!

Thanks

Jessica

So sorry for your struggles! Main thing is don't give up! Remember why you started this journey and re-commit yourself daily.! I too can and have sabatoged myself in the past and eaten around the band. I have lost 92 pounds but have plateaued before reaching my goal... but every day I try to start anew... Hope you get back on track! God Bless!

Jessica - You and I have almost the same situation but I'm actually 28 pounds more than pre surgery. I had the band in December 2009 but never had a fill till 2 days ago. After getting the band I lost almost 70 pounds but started eating "normally" and found I had no restriction.

Maybe we can help each other? I definitely need some, and you and I seem to have a very similar story.
