Hi All :D ...I currently use MyFitnessPlan to track my cals and exercise. Anyone else???? How are you liking it? Has it been effective???

I use it. I love that I I was able to download an app for my Blackberry to make entering more convenient. I love that I can track everything here - Water intake and exercise. I love it. I meet a few folks on lapbandtalk and we friended one another on MyFitnessPal to see each other's daily food diary. My screen name for MyFitnessPal is: mvukotich

I use myfitnesspal.com,too. Same screen name as here. I usually put in my Breakfast, lunch and snack calories at breakfast time when I pack my bag for work. Then it's really satisfying to add my exercise later in the day. I addvdinner when I know what's on the menu.feel free to add me.

I use MFP and it has really helped! You can add me, kittyforet.

I don't always make the best choices, so if you look at my diary, don't judge lol

I started using MyFitness. I had NO ideal the calories I was taking in. It cracks me up when I complete my entrys from the day and it tell me...... at this rate my weigth will be.......well it's better to laugh then cry.

great site keeps me accountable and keeps me on track so I know by noon what I can spend lol.. like a check book

I LOVE MyFitnessPal.com! I use it online and have the app on my iPhone! It really is like a checkbook... helps hold me accountable. LOVE IT!

I agree...it is like a checkbook and I, too, was amazed at how much cals once I started tracking it. I think the craziest thing, and it still floors me everytime, is liquid CALS :blink: !!! OMG those are the devil :o !!! I love MFP and use it all the time. I've used it for 30 days in a row...doesn't sound like a lot but its a lot better than the alternative which was not tracking it for me at all. I love it and have spread the word about it to my co-workers too.

Keep up the great work ya! It's a journey for sure but such an amazing one :D !

      Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
