I AM FINALLY BANDED!!! AHHH!!!

I got banded yesterday! I feel pretty good. My pain afterwards was 0 when gettin up and walking around it has been about a 3 or 4. I am so stiff and sore though. I have finally finished a jello and half of a protein drink for the last 2days that all I have had. I also had hernia repair and the pain factor (thankfully) has not been bad at all. I do have a really high pain tollerence though. It does hurt when I take a deep breath. Having pressure on my stomach (pillow, ice) is a life saver the pressure feels so goos to have something there to support your tummy,

I HAVE AWFUL PAIN IN MY CHEST!! OUCH!!!!

That was the toughest part of my recovery. I had tons of pressure under my rib cage. It was caused from the gas they use while doing surgery. I took gas X strips and walked, and walked and walked some more finally it got better. Hang in there! Congratulations I remember going through all of the pre-opt stuff. It was so time consuming and frustrating I almost gave up. So glad I didn't though. Hope your feeling better soon:
