  1. I am in central Texas between Dallas and Austin. Unfortunately there is NO shade in my neighborhood. And the one park close to me that has a paved walking track doesnt have hardly any trees, :[
  2. I was banded late June of 2011 and found out September 1st of 2011 that I was pregnant! So I FINALLY got a fill yesterday and am at 5cc in a 10cc band. Being a mommy to a 5 week old is definitely challenging with free time so im really hoping that I will have enough time to cook healthy meals and be able to exercise enough. I live in Texas so its already hot out and doesnt cool off enough til dark so going walking with the baby is not really an option until shes a little older. Im really excited to get back on track and was VERY happy to hear that I had only gained 10 lbs since my last appointment in August of last year! I am hoping that I have enough restiction but I am still on mushy foods until late tomorrow so I am still able to eat quite a bit I guess because these are sliders for the most part? Anyway I guess I am just rambling but I would love some suggestions on how busy moms are able to stay true to the lap band lifestyle!
  3. Thanks everyone! I really wish it would have happened after I lost all the weight but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. We are very excited though!
  4. Turns out I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Lol.
  5. So weird! Just found out I'm pregnant, I was banded June 29th and my due date is April 28th. Haha! Good luck ladies!
  6. This hits so close to home. Actually I just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant on Sept 1st. But I had also posted somewhere in here about if being late was normal. Anyhow,my surgery date was june 29th '11 and my last period ( which came two weeks early) was June30th '11. I never got my period and was totally.freaked so I took four pregnancy tests and they were all neg. Went to the er last thur for severe stomache cramps which I thought was my lap band...nope you have a uti..and you're pregnant. Haha,me and my husband just shared our one year anniversary and didn't do anything but think about the best gift ever, our little baby. Anyway moral of the story, never hurts to go to the doc. I'm not saying your pregnant or anything but there might be a.other reason for it!

  12. Soo since my surgery pork just doesn't sit well with me. Had Bacon yesterday for breakfast and it gave me a headache and a gross tummy. Had kabasi (sp?) For dinner tonight and I feel the same way. Anyone else have a similar reaction with certain foods?
  13. I had extreme nausea and some dry heaving,my surgeon took me off my pain med and antibiotic,I felt better as soon as that stuff got out of my system!
  14. But I haven't lost hardly anything maybe 2 lb. I wanna be normal. Calling the nurse tomorrow.
  15. I had surgery June 29. I was supposed to start my period a week after surgery, instead I started the day after surgery,I haven't had one since. The thing is I feel like I'm about to start for the past week I've been cramping and just getting that feeling of doom. Yet nothing has happened. What the Hell? Any others go through something similar?
