pork??

Soo since my surgery pork just doesn't sit well with me. Had Bacon yesterday for breakfast and it gave me a headache and a gross tummy. Had kabasi (sp?) For dinner tonight and I feel the same way. Anyone else have a similar reaction with certain foods?

Bacon and kielbasa are both high fat foods. It might be interesting to see if lower fat pork would cause you as much discomfort.

I had bacon wrapped scallops tonight at dinner and it seemed way too salty to me. But i've had turkey bacon and it tasted great. I'd try that and see how it sits with you.

I can eat deli ham and bacon, at home I make Turkey Bacon though. I can not eat pork chops. I made a pulled pork in crockpot and thought it would be fine...WRONG...I think it is too stringy for my band..Sometimes if you stay away from something for a while you can eat it later on. The band is a fickle friend.

I can't eat pork or beef any more.
