Should I skip fill?

Recommended Posts

I am do for another fill but since my last one only liquids go down. If I eat solids it has to be mush.

Otherwise it hurts.

So I am thinking I am finally at the perfect spot. I have lost 3 pounds in the past two weeks.

Do you think I sould pass on the fill that I am scheduled for tomorrow?

U are too tight. U need to be filling your pouch with solids. This will just lead to big problems, u can't use your band for that kind of restriction. Have about 1/2 of the amount of fill u just had removed. I was too tight and always getting stuck and I had .1 cc (yes that little bit) removed and I am PERFECT.

You need a slight unfill!

That's not perfect- keep your appointment and get a slight unfill instead of a fill.

Thank you. I will go and have some removed. I am getting enough Protein and calories. Keeping track of all of that.

I just have to chew a LOT more than usual if I even want solids. I just had a 1/2 cup of chili, still had to really chew.

I get full a lot faster than I did before my last fill. Which makes me feel good, but when something gets hung, it kills me.

Definitely get an unfill. Even 0.25 - 1.00 cc can make a HUGE difference.

Well, I went in yesterday and the doctor took a look. The barium flowed nicely and he said that he sees that it could be tightened a bit more. So he put in .30

He said that it is most likely from morning sinuses and that in the morning your stomach is sometimes swollen.

Since I am better in the afternoon.

Going to try it for a few days and go back if I need to.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
