Absolutely normal. Happens to most banders

The diarrhea should go away. I wouldn't worry about that. When I first was banded, my stomach would growl so loud that if someone was next to me they could totally hear it. It still does every so often.

liquid in, liquid out.

I called it the explosive decompression of my bowels. NOT fun, but something many of us go through. Along with the noises!

Going through this right now too going from liquids to mushy food. Its an every day occurrance and I am starting to get concerned. Glad to hear I am not alone.

I'm 48 hrs. post-op and it's not so fun!! I had to run to the bathroom and barely made it a couple times :(

Maybe it has to do with being on all liquids.. but it also smells not normal (sorry for the overshare) and is green!

Is my body just self-cleansing? Do a lot of ppl experience similar occurances? I dont' have a gallbladder- is that a factor? Is this a normal post-op thing?

Thanks!
