I am just wondering does anyone have regrets getting the lap band, or what's your regret leading up to the lap band. Or what do you regret now that you are BANDED?

None really. Never been healthier, more active, confident, happy, smaller, healthy, healthy..did I mention healthy? I do like my band for many many many reasons, the most important one being the fact that it somehow gave me the push I needed to not only get off my lazy butt and move but also to learn and read about nutrition and how it all works. Of course, the 115lbs lost and the size 2s are just extras.

If I had to semi-regret anything, it's the fact that the stupid "low profile" port sticks out like a tumor on my body LOL! I hate it and want it gone so bad; maybe one day.

My ONLY regret is that I waited so long to have the surgery. How many positive memories have I missed out on because I was too obese to enjoy them? Now that I've had the surgery, and done so well with it, I am completely satisfied.

No regrets.. not for one moment. Getting banded is quite possibly the best thing I've ever done for myself.

I wish I knew more about how the band EXACTLY worked before I got the surgery. But I don't regret getting it. I feel good, and I'm losing weight far easier than I ever have in the past. Nothing about this diet is torture. Being not hungry is a godsend.

So far no regrets, but only going on 5 weeks now. I do remember thinking "what did I do" when I was coming out of anstesia at the hospital. But I have heard alot of people say that after the first day or two. After that its not bad and after the third week I felt great. Im close to 20 lbs and I can notice alot of difference already in my back and ankles not hurting as bad.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - my only regret is not getting banded sooner.
