does anyone know when after the op you can have diet coke thats the only drink i have and im only 5 days post op and missing it like crazy.

Has no-one told you fizzies are not allowed. They swell in your stomach and may cause slippage.

Because of where the band is placed, the gas cannot escape very easily.

I suppose people get told different things by their surgeon, but mine told me to avoid them completely!!
