revision of band

I have had my band on for eight years and have lost and kept 100lbs off. In two weeks I am having surgery once again because my band has slipped:( The surgeon will be removing the old one and putting in a new one. I thought about removing it completely but I have realized its a tool I can't live without. I am scheduled for April 28th. I am a little nervous but I have faith that all will go well.

Ayme:)

I pray you have a speedy recovery:)

Good luck with everything and congrats!!

I am happy for you that you are a candidate for rebanding. My band was revised and Doc said if it slips again he can't save it or replace it. The 4 months I was completely unrestricted was he** so I understand how happy you are to be keeping your band.

Best wishes,

Mimi

Wish you the best ! you are very lucky that they are replacing it with another band.

My original surgeon switches to By-Pass.

I'm sorry that it slipped, but I'm glad it's been such a success for you and that you'll be getting a shiny new one :)
