MyFitnessPal.com Members

Hi Everyone,

I am a fellow lap-bander (banded October '09) and I use MyFitnessPal.com to track my foods, exercise and weight loss goals. It's a great tool. Are any of you members? It is free, if you are interested.

If you are members or become members, what do you think of becoming "buddies" on this site so we can look at what each other eats and excercise, etc. for help and tips?

Reply here or PM me if you're interested. I can give you my email address and you can look it up on Myfitnesspal.com so we can be linked.

Be well,

Renee

I'm over a year out and I still use it every day. It's just too easy to lose track of what you eat during the day and overeat or not realize just how many calories you're consuming. I just don't want to backslide.

Even at a year the routines are not yet firmly implanted.......or maybe more accurately, my old bad habits are not yet totally gone. I need to stay vigilant. ;)

I'm hooked...currently on a streak of 402 days!! Hope I didn't jinx myself!!

On the serious note, I update daily, to keep myself honest. I'm 14 months post-op, and swear that I don't want to go backwards and back to my old self. Documenting any intake keeps me aware and accountable.

I'm on myfitnesspal too. Name elimagun

It's been a very useful tool, but right now I'm trying to get past a little stall. I've been sleeved since 1/20/15 and lost 26lbs pre and 50lbs post sleeve for a grand total of 76lbs. I use the app daily for exercise and usually weight. I spot check my caloric intake a couple times a week, but not every day.
