We are looking into lap-band for our daughter who is 16 (almost 17). I'm concerned about the long-term effects of the lap band and would love to talk to someone who got the lap band as a teenager and who is at least two years post-op. If you're willing to discuss it in detail, please let me know.

Hey there, sorry this reply is so far out. However, i am 20 now, i was banded at 18 and im about a month from being 2 years post op.
