Normal; you just had a port sewn to your stomach muscle. Mine hurt for a few weeks. Try a heating pad.

Yep heating pad is great, and take your pain meds :) and when you stand up and sit down take a deep breath, helps the pain.

I was banded on feb 8th. I loved my heating pad, it helped so much. Right now, I am feeling great, no pain, no nausea. I just checked the calendar to see how much longer till my fill. I have a few weeks to go. Now I am trying to control my eating. Even though I have no restriction I am trying to eat like a "bandster" I figure this is good practice. I can eat anything but I am eating well. Proteins first and smaller portions. I find great joy in a sugar free pudding. All in all what I want to relate is that, the first weeks are miserable and you may feel like "wth" have you done.....it gets better :0)

GREAT POST THANK YOU!!!
