stomach gurgling and diarrhea

I was banded Dec 27th and my healing process is going well. I'm on full liquids but have been experience stomach gurgling and diarrhea. Could this be coming from the protein shakes? I also don't think I'm drinking enough.

I dont know why you would be having diarrhea but stomach noises are going to be there probably forever. Its just part of it.

I was banded on the 28th and I have been experiencing the same thing. From what ive heard it's normal. Its very difficult for me to get my liquids/proteins because I'm not hungry or thirsty. All I want to do is sleep. ]

diarrhea isn't uncommon when you're on liquids.. Liquid in, Liquid out. Ask your doc if you can take immodium or modify your diet if the diarrhea is troublesome.

I was banded on the 28th and I have the exact same conditions. At least I know this is not out of the ordinary. In fact I just had a cup of beef broth for dinner and I am gurgling away.

I was also banded on the 28th of Dec and have tons of gurgling. I just attributed it to gas from the surgery that I still haven't quite gotten rid of. Everyday my belly seems less bloated but still have some.
