Got Banded December 3, 2010

Hello all, I am a newbie......I just got banded three days ago. I am still having some pain but it's getting better day by day. The hardest part is getting in and out of the bed. Don't really have an appetite for anything so I've been eating ice chips and sipping on water and broth as best I can. Is what I'm experiencing normal?

I was also banded on the 3rd. Not having much pain, getting in and out of bed is the hardest. Today I did go shopping and was in and out of the car about 6 times and still feeling pretty good. Had some oatmeal today w/no problem but dont really have a taste for anything either. Good luck and keep me posted.

take things slowly.. i am 100 lbs on my journey...lsot that amount already dr still says i can lose another 30... good luck!

I just got my lapband on the 3rd as well -- I felt pretty awful on Saturday -- bloated and sore, but much better Sunday -- up and around and walking as much as I can. I have had tomato soup, jello, water, vitamin water, chewable vitamins, and some liquid protein drinks - starting to feel hungry and wondering how I'm going to get through the 2 weeks of liquid diet that seems like FOREVER. Glad to find this site to compare notes and get encouragement and other ideas.smile.gif
