Here's an idea of what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast - 3/4 mushroom and cheese omelet

lunch - tuna salad made with 1 hard boiled egg and light mayo

dinner - Turkey burger (no bun) with mushrooms and Swiss on a bed of lettuce

snack - babybel light cheese, iced coffee with skim milk

I track all of my food using www.myfitnesspal.com - it is free to join and if you send me a friend request (vickyd205) then you will be able to view all of my food diaries.

You are obviously losing inches so you're definitely getting results...maybe shaking up your routine by slightly changing your calories or exercise will help.

Good Luck!

Had my second fill this past Saturday.... and over the weekend busted through my weight loss stall. Yeah... down into the 170s now and got into my NON-elastic waist size 12 jeans. Next goal 160s.

Great weigh in today, loaded with several NSVs...I finally broke through my mini plateau by losing 4.6 lbs this week (in the end, it just took patience and increasing my exercise a bit). For the first time in over 21 years, I weigh less than my husband  and just to put a big old cherry on top, I am now no longer morbidly obese (my BMI is now 39.8).

 I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!

Yeah for you! I weigh less than my hubby now, too and am so happy about that!

Looks great, except where are your fruit servings, lol?

What a great NSV! How tall are you?

I am plugging slowly along. I guess I am basically maintaining/up a bit from my 2 deflates. I don't really feel like I have a band at this time. I miss getting and staying full easily but am thankful to have this time for my stomach to heal from the vomiting I was experiencing. Someone at work today said I was getting skinny! Ha, I said I have lost weight but am far from skinny! I notice the heavy women at work who know I have been banded "checking me out" to see if I look differently!

Have a great week, Joan

I know Joan...I don't do very well with fruit (for some strange reason I don't like eating it)...so far, my NUT hasn't said anything about me not eating it but I really need to figure out a way to incorporate it into my diet.

I'm glad you are doing better and not throwing up anymore...hopefully they can start giving you fills soon so you can start feeling restriction soon. You are doing great...hang in there!!!

Before my band I used to have a banana every morning with breakfast. Now I don't eat fruit either

I had a whole banana today, but when I have restriction I have sugar free apple sauce, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup OJ, a couple of strawberries or a small amount of any cut fruit/grapes. I try to have some fruit every day. :)

My fill (refill) is scheduled for June 3rd. :D

Hi all! I had my last fill back in Feb. I was doing awesome! Then, about 2 weeks ago, I started to feel really tight. I can't eat anything before 4pm, not even a Protein Shake. When I do eat, I can only manage 2-3 tiny bites before I get sick. I haven't really had any issues until now. My allergies have been terrible. Could that be the cause? I'm going to the dr tomorrow, but I'm worried that he'll want to do an unfill and I'll stop losing! At the same time I'm really sick of getting sick!

I'm only 5'2"... my goal is 125... I have a wayssssssss to go... Almost at my 1/2 way mark.

Just got back from my appointment. Told my doc I've started getting hungry between meals, so he decided to give me my first fill. Only gave me 0.75cc, I thought that was pretty small, but maybe it will help. Curious why some docs numb you, because he didn't numb me and I didn't even feel it.

Now interesting thing, I asked him about NSAIDs because I believe I have tendinitis in my shoulder and I really want to get rid of it. He told me there is no problem taking them, that only bypass patients have to be careful. Interesting. So I can finally get rid of this pain in my shoulder, excellent.

Now I have to do 2 days liquids, 2 days mushies and 2 days chopped or pureés. That sucks because I just got tom and I'm hungry. Well hopefully this will give my weight loss a little kick because I feel like I'm struggling a bit

Sounds familiar! I think my stuck episodes began with allergies. My band is defalted to about what it was post op. What happened at your appointment?

I have taken ibuprofen as needed with my doctor's approval since surgery and haven't had any problems. I hope your fill works great!

I love reading all of your posts!

I have stayed away (subconsciously, at first) because I was feeling so depressed that my scale is not moving. Or to be more exactl, it is moving - up and down with the same 3-4 pounds). I am so sick of it, but I know that I am going over the 1200 calories I know I need to keep it to daily.

I am happy (not for you, but for me) to know that I am not the only one 5 months out that is having the same struggles. And it is a good reminder that because someone has a great victory, like losing 50 lbs, it is not reflective of my goals, because they may have had more to lose.

My BMI is down, I bought my first pair of Buckle jeans that makes my teenage daughter crazy because her mom is wearing 'trendy' jeans. But then this weekend, I was wearing an older pair of plain jeans that are too big for me, but of course are super-comfortable and she asked me why wasn't I wearing my Buckle jeans that look nice!

I am at 8cc in my 14cc band. I don't want another fill - I am so afraid of being at the max fill level and not losing -soooo scary!

I get stuck every 3 days or so, I know when I eat too fast. I have discovered that I can't eat grilled food - not chicken, hamburger, turkeyburgers. Just too dry. That was disappointing. I was hoping I would be able to eat anything, in small portions!

Thanks again to everyone for sharing your ups and downs. It is so helpful and I have to remember that and not be afraid to come on to the board because I am frustrated.

Good luck and great job to EVERYONE! Kristen

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
