  1. Samantha, I am keeping your email as an inspiration! I have the same fears and was just banded last Friday. Your message hit the target with me. I need to remember what you said!!! Thanks for the post and taking the time to lead us "newbies" through the key hole!
  2. I am post-op 12/3 and feel great! Was at SAM's the next morning walking around. Went back to work Monday, although I have been slipping out by 2 or 3 because I am tired. Took pain meds for about 3 days and then just Tylenol. My biggest problem is drinking enough fluids. I also still have some discomfort in my shoulders from anesthesia, but this had eased alot today. Everyone experiences apin differently and I have always breezed through medical problems and have a high pain threshold. Hope things get better and just listen to your body, but do make yourself walk and be as active as you can.
  3. Wow, this is me! I had my birthday yesterday and just got everything scheduled. Surgery is Dec. 3rd (Fri) and I had hoped to go back Monday. I have a friend who did it on a Thursday and went back Monday. I will be interested in what gets posted to your inquiry. Good luck!
  4. I'm in that same category, sort of. I have a BMI of 35 and less than 100 lbs to lose. I am scheduled at this time and still having doubts.
