Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor Recently banded 30yr old female.

Hi out there. I am a recently banded female. I want to lose a total of 93 pounds, which I am sure will take a lot of dedication and perseverance. I have lost 8 pounds so far. :)

I am looking for a mentor to help me reach my goals. Male or female is fine. I am in Denver, Colorado.

I look forward to reaching my goal with your support!!

Thanks,

Katie

Hey Katie...welcome...what date were you banded and what food stage are you in?

It does take work to get off the weight. But, with the help of the band, it makes it doable. Follow your doctor's instructions as far as what foods to eat, get your fills when you feel the need and get into some kind of exercise program.

LapBandTalk is a great place for support and information. Good luck!

Hi Katie,

Congrats on your band and your 8 pounds lost! I got my band in Denver but live up in the mountains. I am soon to be 30 and would love to talk to you about your band journey.
