  1. Hi out there. I am a recently banded female. I want to lose a total of 93 pounds, which I am sure will take a lot of dedication and perseverance. I have lost 8 pounds so far. I am looking for a mentor to help me reach my goals. Male or female is fine. I am in Denver, Colorado. I look forward to reaching my goal with your support!! Thanks, Katie
  2. Great job for asking him to lunch. Just getting the nerve to do that is hard. This is how I deal with those situations. When people don't give us the answer we want, or when we are rejected, I take it as a life lesson. Of course it sucks, but I turn it back around on them. They will never know what a kind, amazing, and loving person I am. That is sad for them! Give yourself one day to cry, and then move on. I am confident that I will find my soulmate and have a family, but first I need to get myself in the best shape possible and have mental clarity before I can be a great "half" in a relationship. That was a long rant! LOL
  3. I do have these gross weird burbs from my liquid diet, but I am willing to live with it.
  4. I had my surgery on Friday, and I was feeling so great after surgery that I think I over did it. I was able to walk and go shopping the next day. I haven't had any pain on my incisions, but I do have a dull ache in my stomach. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not. I haven't taken any pain meds for about 24 hours though, so I think everything is getting better. I am so excited that I had this done. I am not hungry, and I am feeling great! I hope that I can get to my goal weight by next summer. I'm only thinking good things from here on out!
