My name is Melissa. I am 33 yrs old and I live in Rockledge, FL.

This is my first post. I have one more appointment with my doctor for my diet history and then I will be able to submit to insurance for approval. I am scared, excited, nervous, anxious and every other emotion rolled into one. I am hoping that the insurance approval is quick so I can have the surgery as soon as possible. I am tenatively scheduled for surgery on Nov 15th. I am looking forward to meeting others on the same journey or who have been down the road already because I need all the support I can get. I don't have all the support I need over here so it will be nice to make friends. Please feel free to message me or whatever. I am looking forward to my healthy new life.

I am new here as well. I had my first appt with the surgeon my next one is Oct 14. Like you I hope this procedure goes by quickly. I don't know what to feel right now but I guess as the process goes forward emotions will change many times. I don't have support here either. So drop me a line sometime.
