Can't stay out of bathroom..anyone else?

Banded on Tuesday, Sept. 14, came home on Wednesday, Sept. 15. Hardly any pain..doing good except stomach is always rumbling and can't stay out of the bathroom since Thursday. Going back to work on Monday and can't have this problem..... Any suggestions??

I had the opposite problem. I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder if you could take something for it. Usually the pain meds make you constipated. I would call your doctor and let him/her know what is going on.

For the first few days I spent a lot of time in the bathroom it got better within a week. I also started to use benefiber so that I would'nt go too far the other way.

I too had this problem it lasted until I was on Full Liquids. And still a little bit afterward too. I also used benifiber to help tighten things up ha ha...

Ended up calling the doctor this am. They had me go to the emergency room to be tested for an infection. So far all tests are okay and they gave me a prescription for diarrhea and hooked me up to an IV for fluids. Using immodium until I can get my prescription filled....still no change but only been on it for 4 hours..

i was banded on the 13th i had the opposite and used activa to help me.

I too spent a lot of time in the bathroom. I think for me it was the protein shakes that were doing it to me. I notice it even now when I do protein shakes for at least two meals. So, it could be your protein shakes maybe.
