Ok, so I'm 12 days post op and I'm finally starting to feeling "hungry". I had a shake for Breakfast around 8:00 and then had lunch around 1:30 (soup) and then have had non-fat plain greek yogurt around 4:00, more Soup again around 6:00 and am hungry again.. grrr... I hope I do not enter into bandster hell before my 1st fill on the 3rd!

Gosh- how long are you on liquids for? It'll be easier when you start on mushies (a little) and it'll be a lot better when you are on solids.

I would add more shakes or Protein smoothies. I made mine with carnation instant breakfast, vanilla greek yogurt, a little skim milk, blended up frozen strawberries (if you're allowed) and a tablespoon or two of Peanut Butter. I made them pretty thick when I was allowed to. The combo of the Protein and fat kept me pretty full for a couple/few hours. (Soup did very little for my hunger when I was on liquids.)

I am able to move over to pureed foods on Tuesday :cursing: Hopefully that will help! Those smoothies sound good, I can't have fruit yet, but soon enough :)

I, too, was banded on the 3rd. I started on mushies on the 4th and can't wait until I can eat regular foods. I munched on a couple of homemade french fries today, but I made sure I chewed them all the way up. I started out eating 1/2 cup, but now eat about a cup of food at a time. I've lost 10 lbs, but have been stuck there for a few days. I am getting frustrated.

I was banded on Aug 9th and yesterday was the 1st that I felt very very hungry. I have been doing the liguids since Aug 7th and I'm ready for some real food! lol My wife thinks I'm not eating enough and wants me to start on the cream of wheat. Yesterday all I ate was a Protein shack and cream of chicken Soup with Water and G2 Gatorade.

Wow, I'm not even in the pureed stage yet, I start the pureed tomorrow for 7 days, then move to mushys for 7 then regular foods. I made chicken breasts, mashed potatoes and cooked carrots for dinner tonight, I will puree them up tomorrow in my magic bullet for lunch.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
