Wow,

This was somewhat tougher than I thought it was going to be. Some people on here report no problems and some say it is horrible. I am nearer the second one.

I have eaten a little broth, and keeping Water down. Anyone have an idea on what to do for Protein?

Lol...it's only been three days and I am stir crazy in the house. Going to try a trip to walmart :(

Hang in there! It does get better. I would try protien shakes if your doc allows them the first week post surgery, mine did. Infact, I buy them at Walmart. EAS carb control. They come in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I find I like the taste but it took a little getting used to. Good luck on your journey!

:( Protien shakes like EAS or Muscle Milk are good choices...read labels and taste different brands to find one for you!

Good luck !!!

Thanks for all the help guys and gals. Without this forum I would have been really lost and confused.

Will try some of my pre-diet Protein Shake tonight and see if it stays down.

I had my surgery last Monday and the last 2 days have been awful for me. Not so much pain but a feeling like there is a "chicken bone" stuck in my chest. It has made me not want to put anything in my mouth for I feel then like I'm going to be sick. I feel weak because of it because I'm not getting in the amount of protein or drinks like I'm suppose to. Not to mention I'm HUNGRY for REAL food!!! Good luck to you and keep me posted!!!!
