Looking for Dr. in Kansas City to do 6 month documentation

My insurance requires a Dr. to do the 6 month diet & exercise documentation. My BMI is 39, overall I am healthy so my primary Dr. sounded as though he wasn't comfortable doing the 6 month documentation. I have BCBC PPO -- any recommendations on finding a primary Dr that is supportive??

With a bmi of 39 , your insurance, will require (most likely ) a co-morbitidy or 2 . Check with your insurance, or bump yourself to 40 bmi.

Thanks BeachBunny! It's not hard to gain weight so I'll most likely be 40 bmi soon. Even with BMI at 40, my insurance requires 6 month Dr. documentation. Did you have to do that?

I am going to my PCP, Dr. Neal Erickson, over at St. Joseph Medical Mall. He has been great! Who is doing your surgery?
