Bathroom issues after a fill????

Recommended Posts

I hate to be gross but I must ask b/c you are all the pro's but I had my first fill yesterday and haven't had anything to eat at all since Thurs. I have been in the bathroom all day today with the runs. I can't take it anymore its every 10 minutes. Has anyone else had this issue after a fill and does anyone know what its from.

Never heard of this before. is it possible that you have picked up some bug that might be going around?

I agree. I hope you don't have the flu or something.

Maybe it's just a freaky thing and you will be all better by tomorrow. I don't think it is related to the fill.

It's funny you brought up this subject I had my 3rd fill on thurs. and I also had that problem right after my fill and the next day. I didn't eat before my fill and it just went away. No cramps or any thing so I know for a fact it was from the fill. I would be in the bathroom after drinking Water.< /p>

My stomach was making alot of funny noises also. But I kept running to the bathroom and it just went away friday night. I'm going to ask the doctor next time if that is normal, I told my husband that if I was like that all weekend I would be calling the doctors on monday.

Yeah I am not liking this feeling at all, the little bit we are eating for me its just liquids it is coming right out so what is the point. My stomach was killing me all last night and feels real queezy this morning. Scared to eat anything that it is going to start all over.

I am still thinking it has nothing to do with the fill ...... but I'm not the expert.

One thing that always helps me (may be just an old home remedy, but works) is drinking Jello. Make Jello like normal and just sip it in it's liquid form.

I hope you both feel better soon.

exact same thing happened to me the day after a fill. I was home alone with my daughter and my husband was at work and I had to spend a good 3 hours in the bathroom. OMG. AWFUL! Not sure if it was the fill or what but the timing was a little suspicious and nobody else was ill in the family.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
