Shrinking violets- part 6!!!

LOL Laura, I couldn't read it all...I saw something dipped in maple and had to scroll down!

Last night we had the windows open while watching TV (it was 83 yesterday) and my neighbor was bbq'ing...OMG, That was painful!!! I actually felt sick the tummy pains hurt that bad.

Well...TOMORROW MORNING I FIND OUT IF I AM NATIONALLY BOARD CERTIFIED!!! What a long wait this has been. I REALLY NEED SOME PURPLE POWER KIDS! Please keep me in your thoughts. I would love to have this under my belt. There are 5 pieces, and I can pass all or some of them. If it is not all, then I make a quick decision (to try and get the funding) for retaking it!

As if I don't have enough on my mind right now!

Laura, that sounds really good! Maybe your mom can make doughnut pops as her signature item!!

Alright back to bank business. I didn't get it all figured out yesterday, adn I think it will probably take a few days for me to get it all straightened out!!

What is your board certification for? I thought all was done as far as your doctorate?

Oh well, off I go................

OOOO no Jane! That sucks. Last year I paid the gas company twice and then got a shut off notice from the electric company...haha...I am not allowed to pay the bills anymore!

Good luck sorting this out sweetie!

The Nat'l Boards are above and beyond. It is a very prestigious National recognition that would allow me to teach in any state (not that I would ever leave CA).

off to work!

Morning girls~

had a complete meltdown last night. Minimal calories, National Board scores pending, dad's passing 2 yrs ago Sunday, surgery Monday, teaching, having 33 papers to grade this weekend...omg, it is too much. It all hit at once, and I don't have the caloric intake to handle it. Crying now, just thinking about the stress...need to just get through the day.

not much else going on...wish me luck!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
