Recommended Posts

Just got home, now I need to pack and call my parents and sister and make sure everything is Kosher to leave. I am soooo nervous about leaving!! I have tried calling my parents and their line is busy. Is that why I haven't packed yet? Crazy I am Crazy!!!

Hi Girls~

Susanne has cleaned the house top to bottom (it didn't need it, but ok)...we are ready for you! There are two beds for two each and a great couch...I'll let you figure it out. It is not like you'll be in the room, except to sleep. The couch is in one of the rooms, so one room is for 3 and the other for 2. The room for 3 is bigger...but oh well. Ya'll just get here safely.

Have your cells ready...especially the 11am girls...I'll need to find you!

Am I a fool up this late? I am going to try to sleep for a few hours, and then wake up at four, to be picked up at five, and at airport by six. Maybe I am on California time?!! That is it!!!

Had a great weekend girls. I'm so tired today though. But juan was such a good husband and had the house so nice and clean. At least I don't have to worry about that. Weather turned so nice yesterday. I arrived to mild temps in the 80's and this morning it was in the 60's. Love it.

All the weddings were a success! I guess I'm not as needed as I always think I am, lol.

safe travels to all the traveling violets today!

I PB'd 3x on the meatloaf today (no spetzle)...just the moist meat...uugggg! After our "no calories in California" weekend, I guess it is a good thing the band is back at it today!

I'm home! Arrived about 12:30am. Evan was in the family room, sleeping on the couch w/the tv on "waiting for me". Sweet boy. But then we were up 'til 1:15am chatting! So it's no surprise that he, Claire & I all overslept this morning! It's dark and pouring rain here today... a perfect "sleep in" day... and when Claire woke up first, she thought maybe school had been cancelled because of the rain! But luckily she woke me up, and we all hustled like mad & I drove them both to school & we made it on time! Phew! It's good to be home?

So excited for Laura's news today! My poor "refresh" button is going to get a workout this morn!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
